Load 100%, Drop Tanks, and Bombs

Approach NOE again, positioning your groups just North of the Blue Zone, or press the attack if ships have been located. Once ships are located, the bombers head SW and/or SE into the sector with the ships.  The buffs approach the shipping in a wide V and unleash their loads at the same time from several angles. Concentrating on the TG and CV without a Cruiser. 2 folks on the CV, say the GLs, and all others on a ship. Assign ships during the pre-flight briefing. Who knows, a stray torp or 3 may hit other TGs too. Should the NIKIs sink the CV, all bombers should independently attack all smaller ships of opportinity

NIKIs will attack head on with the CV Group and target the CV that has been tagged. (No Cruiser)  It should be soft.  If it goes down, let bombers know on Channel 2 IN CAPS!!  They will then concentrate their efforts on smaller ships. After you drop, climb and provide cover for the bombers and report shipping direction and location.

Load Fuel and ord as needed

77th Sentai KI-61 SF GL   FLs -  madda  & Kumori
"Attack enemy shipping in the Sulu Sea."
Load Fuel and ord as needed

The KI-84s 22 Sentai and 200 Sentai are heavy, proceeding as shown NOE. The 77 Sentai KI-61s are also NOE and Heavy. Fly the routes proposed, locate a ship and then the first group concentrates ALL ord on a single cruiser and reports the location. The Cruiser MUST die. (4,000 pounds) NOW, the bombers and NIKIs know which CV to attack. The other remaining fighters, if possible, start to hit the CV. You can soften the CV enough to ensure a kill.  Everyone concentrate on that CV TG. Once all have dropped, you will surely be engaged. If possible, All groups Run South to the dark line and fight it out there and swing east.  If you are successful in dominating them, stay and cap. If not, RE-Launch immediately and head back same. NOE and HEAVY. (Check with GL if you need to stay and CAP A13.) P-38's may be capping the field.

The sunken Cruiser can be our damage indicator...since we do not know what is hit by any other means.  We know that will be the target, and the CV is possible and vulnerable for the NIKIs and bombers to sink. The NIKIs that launched with the KI-67s will attack the CV, as well, in advance of the bombers and then will grab as CAP. If this is timed right and we located the ships, 2 fast strikes are possible on the shipping this Frame. The Surviving KI-67 bombers may also rearm at A-13 and reengage faster. Make sure there are fighters at the carriers and also that we have a CAP at A-13 before they try and rearm. The bombers can RTB to A-63. If A-13 is capped by P-38's, check with the Zero Compliment positioned near A-13 or text CH 150 321BAR to report condition. If A-13 is capped by superior numbers, rearm A-63. If damaged, it may cost us a life unless you can land gear up quickly and exit to tower and gun. This is a calculated Risk I have taken. It might take time to get the 78th Sentai to you at least to harrass vulchers, if the small Zero compliment is down.

201st will launch and position your group above Shipping. Use Med and High caps. Coordinate with the Zeros and KI-84s there. Attack fighters and especially any low B-25s.
If B-24s are near you, assist in attacking them but do not attack if you face superior numbers and cannot safely cause them fatalities. Shipping is your number 1 priority.

Launch and patrol areas North and West of A-58, near shipping but try not to be directly over it. I will try and position the ships near a sector line and you then stay on the other side of that line at first.

B-25's and their Escorts are our PRIMARY Concern
Everyone will Rally to kill them at our shipping.

The B-24s are concentrating their efforts on Strats on Panay and Mindoro. Engage them if you have an advantage, like stragglers, lone escorts, or if they are on the deck. Their escorts may come heavy too. There are 2 flights of P-38's patrolling Mindoro and Panay with nothing to do but patrol. They may cap our fields, or head to our dar bar(s). They WILL be pushing 26K+. (or trying) They may also locate our shipping. It is not clear if they will be heavy and attack ships as well.
IF the B-24s hit strats, it's OK to let them if you cannot get to them safely. The amount of damage, so far, by them has been minimal to Strats. They will have to make 2 trips unless the escorts come in heavy too.

Only attack the B-24s if their escorts are heavy or when you have a clear shot or a numbers advantage. They have to level all 3 Strats prior to attacking our ships and there is not enough time for that to happen unless we shoot them down!

IF they come in on the deck, then kill them. I prefer that you only kill 2 of the 3 bombers in a formation. Doing so still makes them RTB and they can't re-launch immediately. You can damage them though, if the opportunity does not jeopardize your plane, wingman, or squadmembers. DO NOT OFFER UP YOUR LIFE.

Since your flights may be scattered at times, use discretion when attacking a superior force. Use B and Z tactics, pick on stragglers, lone escorts, anything that isn't going to get you mobbed. Do not saddle up on a B-24 with escorts if you are in danger of being picked off or if it endangers your wingman or your flight or squad.

I am in no way saying do not attack the B-24s, I am just using extreme caution.

CAP your fields for RTBs, if possible. The P-38's will be waiting.

    A-58

    78th Sentai
    KI-61 Tongs GL
"Provide fighter cover over Panay and Mindoros Islands to protect the strategic targets located there.  Secondary mission to attack enemy shipping in the Sulu Sea."
Load 100% Fuel, DT no ord.
Establish a CAP anywhere over Panay between A-13 and near the Strat. You will be a lone group there, for the most-part. Dead pilots may be re-upping from A-13 and you may need to CAP, if needed. Provide a CAP to protect returning bombers to A-13, as well. Patrol between the Panay Strat and A-13 and report, if and when, the Strat has been attacked by the B-24s. Do not engage superior numbers. Kill any scouts or stragglers that might present the opportunity  We do not have to let them kill us either.  Let their bombers drop, if you do not have a clear opportunity to attack.  If A-13 is not capped and our fighters are clearly rearming safely, move north to assist covering our shipping until Phase 2.

Phase 2 you will be launching heavy to assist killing the shipping in the Sulu Sea. The other squads assigned will cap Panay and Mindoro and provide its defense.
(Must meet conditions by Phase 2 of strats all down, or all bombers dead)  Otherwise, defend Shipping in the North

    Fleet Captain  Floatsup

(Fleets move approx 1 sector in 20-30 mins.)

Saving lives will be a good idea, unless we have a similar CAP issue. If A-13 is capped and folks need help, send one full high alt group to aid them in re-launching.
