You may rearm at A-17, A-33, or your home field, A-52. You may re-plane at A-52 only.

    A-31
    78th Sentai KI-61 Tongs GL
"Attack enemy shipping in Leyte Gulf and strategic targets on Leyte and Samar Islands."
Load 100% Fuel  and bombs (GL calls)
Launch Immediately, proceed best speed to A-113 and attack the ACK positions located there. Stay on the sector line that runs directly into the field, east side of Ormoc bay. Do not enter the bay.  Make your approach from the South West to the North East or in a manner you prefer and strafe the acks. There should be no manned guns this early being manned. Once you have made the single run, turn North and then due West and attack the Strat there with your bombs and guns.. Make only a single pass and get out of there in both places.  RTB and re-plane.
Your Second Sortie is to A-12 and the strat at that location. It's a tough sweep through Leyte Gulf. Any shipping that you come across, attack. If not, then hit A-12 in the same manner. Southwest to Northeast approach, single pass, and then turn North then West and hit the strat there. Suggest you swing back East and rtb - east of A-12 as you will be low on ammo.
RTB. Time Permitting, Attack A-113 again, this time ack, fuel, ammo, and troops. If you killed the ack previously, it should still be down. CAUTION: Manned act is back up in 90 minutes.
If you check the map Right Click and select Status of A-113, check the  percentages for the AMMO factory. If over 30%, kill the remaining buildings. If it's less than 30% do not go back there. Instead, assist the bombers and Fighters in locating and killing ships in Leyte Gulf.
You may rearm at A-52, A-33, or any bases on Mindanao. You may only re-plane/exit at A-31, your Home field.

    Fleet Captain  Floatsup
Assemble Fleets and Supply convoys as prescribed. Sector 9 16 7
"A destroyer group shall escort two transport groups from the Visayan  Sea to the area just off the coast of A21 and maintain station there until midnight."
With 4 groups of ships to manage, it is in our best interest, in my opinion, to lure the B-25s and escorts to where we want them. Our 3 sets of planes are perched ready to drop in on the unwanted guests. From T+1 to T+90, form a small turning circle and include many sigs and zags to make it difficult to get a good alignment.  Their fighters will score hits, and it's my hope that the bombers will get disoriented and pause. When that happens, 500 MPH NIKIs, KI-67s, and GOD will pounce on them. The Zeros will then be in their element too, should they be able to partake in the kill-fest. Turning the groups in a counter clockwise solution may give some of the CV guns an outside shot. Of course, you can circle 2 in the opposite direction and that too will be visually distracting.
At T+90 we need to move the ships to the pass to arrive by T+120. Then at that position, zig-zag and head to A-21 to unload supplies by T+160.

*****  Pilots will be allowed to use 1 life per Phase  ****

GL's / FL's Inform all pilots in your briefings - they need to gun our shipping first, bombers second, active bases last. Do NOT use a second life for any reason in Phase 1.

Specifically, if you are KIA during the first run/sortie, you then become a gunner to survivors, active bases, ships etc.,  until Phase 2.

I want to see everyone ready to kill the enemy near Frame end.
If both lives are lost early, then we have lost the battle and maybe the war. Attack Aggressively, but conserve lives.

Once the initial Phase is completed (T+75) and we have completed the required actions in the HQ orders,  then we will proceed with further missions to locate and destroy targets of opportunity.

On a side note, please man the guns on our ships if you have lost your lives. It will be especially important that we do not lose sight of the mission if you died.
We still have to safely get convoys to A21 and position them there "until midnight". I expect a late attack and concentration of Allied bombers and fighters.
Gunning for a bomber is also a great option. You planned to fly 3 hours, please plan on being here thru "End Log".
