    755th Kokutai
    Bombers.  (Formations? ) OOZ662 GL
    "
Attack enemy shipping and strategic targets in and near Leyte Gulf as soon as practicable. Multiple sorties should be ran against this target."
Load torpedos and 50% Fuel.  (GL calls Fuel)
Attacking Shipping in "and near" Leyte Gulf,  Strats, and strategic targets. I interpret "in and near" as Ormoc Bay is "shipping near Leyte Island and Gulf."
Immediately launch, run full throttle NOE  and spread your squad to cover the southern sector of Ormoc Bay W-E.  If any shipping is located, immediately call out location and number of ships. Attack ships with torpedos, in a single pass and RTB to replane. This can be accomplished in single planes to give you more maneuverability and less visibility for the ememy.
Replane (single or Formations-GL call) and proceed to last known Ormoc Bay ships and repeat the attack.  If this was successfully accomplished, , move south NOE and enter the South central sector of Leyte Gulf and station your group until Gulf shipping is identified and confirmed. 12 14 3

    78th Sentai KI-61 Tongs GL
"The group whose task is to attack enemy shipping in Ormoc Bay."
Load 75% fuel and ord  (GLs call)
Launch immediately and spread your flight and patrol the 11/13 Sector NOE and locate any shipping. Once you have cleared as much as you can, sweep back and rtb to cover the rest. Alert All Ormoc Bay GLs if shipping is located, report location and numbers. Make a single attack and drop all ords, strafe ships and CVs on the way out and run for home field to rearm.
If shipping is south of your position, proceed best speed and direct to the target and execute your attack orders and then RTB. Repeat attacks. There should be a CAP and another set of KI-61s, and NIKIs arriving. Additional bombers will also be present. (Bruv, hawk36, and Brooke)

201st Sentai N1K2  USRanger GL and Backup XO  FL  tuk151
"Provide escort for the 755th and 762nd Kokutai and attack shipping in the Leyte Gulf area as soon as practicable."
Load 75% fuel and ord  (GLs call)
Escorts for 755th - likely 100% fuel and eggs. Bomb targets of opportunity and provide escort.
The nearest Leyte Strat (Ammo) is your primary target. Ships of opportunity in Ormoc Bay will take priority.  Do not drop on CVs.
You will launch immediately East, NOE,  and spread your group as wide as possible to make a full sweep of  Central  Ormoc Bay to locate shipping. If shipping is located, report location and numbers. Attack the shipping with bombs, then immediately proceed to the SW Strat and strafe targets at that location. After a single pass at the strat, take your force and head back to A53 to rearm and re-strafe any known shipping as needed on the return flight, if practical.  After landing at A-53 and exit for a new plane. Launch and head to Leyte Gulf via safest route and perform  sweeps to locate major shipping and attack it. Once ord is gone, call OOZ662's 755th Bombers into the gulf and provide cover.

    All Attackers:
Only attack the other ships in the convoy. (4,000 lbs) to sink.  All Cruisers are a "must kill".
If ord is still available, then drop to kill active guns on the CV.  Strafe all ships when leaving.
We will kill CVs later, if possible,  as it takes 14,000 lbs to sink one.
Group Leaders will make the call if it is an active Carrier.  If  planes are lifting from it,  then sink it at your discretion.

    "
Attack enemy shipping and strategic targets in and near Leyte Gulf as soon as practicable. Multiple sorties should be run against this target."
    Load 75% Fuel
You "may" load bombs and/or torpedo and proceed directly to the Strat (Ammo) on the SW side of Leyte island.
If the opportunity presents itself, attack the shipping in Ormoc Bay. If you loaded torps and shipping remains, land at A53 and rearm. Your drones will be lost. That's OK.
Continue into Ormoc bay and destroy any shipping remaining.
Repeat often.  I hope we have had quite a few folks entering Leyte Gulf to scout for remaining enemy shipping there.
RTB and Replane with Torpedos and Formations at A-33. Launch and proceed to the SW NOE and position your group in Sector 13 14  3 or more easterly and await Gulf  Shipping reports.

    22 Sentai KI-84's Bruv119 GL
"Provide escort for the 755th Kokutai. If practicable, later in the day attack Allied airfields or shipping near Leyte."
Load 100% Fuel and Ord - GL's call.
Proceed best Speed and climb to OOZ662's location and assist in killing Ormoc shipping  Release ORD, if  you are attacked or need to attack fighters.  Provide fighter over Ormoc Bay until shipping is destroyed. Rearm and refuel as necessary. RTB any damaged planes to A-33 and exit to replane.
CAP until all lower groups have refueled, rearmed or replaned. Once the vertical threat is diminished, proceed East at highest alt you deem necessary and sweep Leyte Gulf for shipping and enemy planes. Report all ship sightings  immediately to OOZ and Brooke.
RTB and Rearm at A-53 in sections. If planes are damaged, RTB A-33 and replane. A-113 is an alternate target or option to strafe when RTB.  (ack, ammo, fuel)

    341st Air Group N1K2's hawk36 GL
    "
Attack enemy shipping in the Leyte Gulf area and provide escort for the 755th and 762nd Kokutai"
    Load 100% fuel and Ord
This group will launch to Escort the bombers. It is expected that everyone be heavy.
Ormoc Bay Shipping is your primary target enroute, if reported and detected.  Otherwise proceed East, locate and Attack shipping in Leyte Gulf.  All Cruisers are a "must kill".
If shipping in Ormoc Bay remains, attack with ord and provide Med Cap and assist in covering the bombers and other groups in the Bay.  Engage all enemy fighters.
If ord and ammo is low, stage refueling at A-53 and return to the fight best speed. Attack shipping only if it remains. If possible, and the threat of fighters over the bay has been eliminated, then proceed East to the Ammo Strat and drop ord.  Once you make a single pass, continue to sweep East and locate enemy shipping in Leyte Gulf. Attack with any remaining ords and guns. If timing is right, OOZ and Brooke may be in the southern region awaiting reports.
Refuel only at A-53 if you are undamaged and if damaged RTB  A-33 to replane.
Again, Concentrate efforts on all ships except the CV. We must sink 12+ ships each of the first 2 frames. We also need 130+ objects destroyed.
If you are attacked at Ormoc Bay or distracted by enemy shipping immediately RTB and rearm.
Fighters "may" continue to press the attack if you have superior numbers and ord.
You may assist 22 Sentai in strafing targets at A-113

Attack any and all fighters and Bombers entering the area.
Our supply convoys must reach A21 intact to resupply our troops on the island. (Suggest High (18-25K) and Med Cap <5K -15K>). GL Option

"A destroyer group shall escort two transport groups from the Visayan  Sea to the area just off the coast of A21 and maintain station there until midnight."
Assemble Fleets and Supply convoys as prescribed.
They need to arrive at 10-16-5 NLT T+180 then proceed South and be in place by T+200 and start unloading supplies and troops.
We must resupply A-21 and avoid enemy destroyer groups somewhere in the southern Visayan Sea and Ormoc Bay.
(Fleets move approx 1 sector in 20-30 mins.)

*****  Pilots will be allowed to use 1 life per Phase  ****

GL's / FL's Inform all pilots in your briefings - they need to gun our shipping first, bombers second, active bases last. Do NOT use a second life for any reason in Phase 1.

Specifically, if you are KIA during the first run/sortie, you crash on take-off, ditch etc, then you then become a gunner to survivors, active bases, ships etc.,  until Phase 2.

I want to see everyone ready to kill the enemy near Frame end.  If both lives are lost early, then we have lost the battle and maybe the war.
    Attack Aggressively, but conserve lives.

Once the initial Phase is completed (T+75) and we have completed the required actions in the HQ orders,  then we will proceed with further missions to locate and destroy targets of opportunity.

On a side note, please man the guns on our ships if you have lost your lives. It will be especially important that we do not lose sight of our mission.
We still have to safely get convoys to A21 and position them there "until midnight". I expect a late attack and concentration of Allied bombers and fighters.
Gunning for a bomber is also a great option. You planned to fly 3 hours, please plan on being here thru "End Log". The Emperor will be grateful!

    1. Should we have superior numbers, the fighter escorts will escort all remaining Bombers to the Leyte area.

    2. Destroy the Troop Strat on the North Side of the island and then any shipping during the egress at Leyte Gulf.

    3. Bomb any active field(s), if you have a opportunity, ordnance, and escorts, but only small, easy targets.

Time permitting, rearm and refuel any active fields or replane-if at your home base.
If both lives were lost, join a bomber as gunner or Task force gunner position.
Lastly, if still alive, CAP or fly to escort members returning home.

It ain't over until "End Log"
